"Casa de Areia" (Sand house) was part of the ArteMar competition finalists in 2012.  

The project was a response to the theme of the competition, which was to develop a project that represented the relationship between the Ocean and Man, and also the importance of preserving the Ocean. "Casa de Areia" is a house made of glass walls that hold sand in them. Its size was calculated made using the artists dimensions.
